Meet Amanda, The Beekeeper

Hi, I’m Amanda! My journey into the world of bees started just a couple of years ago with a few local beekeeping classes and a lot of curiosity. Armed with a bit of knowledge and a ton of excitement, I welcomed my first two hives to Sugar Camp last year—and promptly fell completely in love.

What started as a fascinating hobby quickly turned into a true passion. This year, I expanded the Sugar Camp apiary from 2 to 8 thriving hives! Every day in the bee yard is a new adventure, and I’m so excited to share the sweet, sticky, and fascinating lessons I learn from my bees with you.
